Cars, 5K, and soccer

If we added up all the money we've spent on our 1999 Grand Voyager in the past 10 months, it's really worth a lot! Why can't it really be like that? Cam seems to be itching to get another vehicle and I would like to keep this one until the duct tape no longer holds it all together. I'm just not thrilled about another car payment. We've been working to save enough cash to buy a used vehicle outright, but I guess we haven't been working hard enough. Other things get in the way. Lots of things to do around the house, too, and never enough time to do them. (or enough energy)

S ran a 5K on Saturday! His first! He didn't really prepare for it, but that stinker wasn't even winded when he finished. It was a memorial run to kick off the annual Pumpkinfest. What great weather we had. I went with the boys yesterday and got a few nice things and visited with some people. It's always a neat time.

Soccer is winding down. V's school team has 3 games this week and then they are finished. I haven't gotten to see too many of them, unfortunately, but I keep hearing that he plays so well. I did get to see him head yet another one into the goal last week! Rec soccer will still go into November. That is fun, provided the weather is OK.
