Praise be! Karen's job is safe!

It's official... I get to keep my job! It isn't the job Iwas hired for and I'm not quite sure what it will become, but hey - I have a job! It's with the financial aid department at the PA State System of Higher Ed (PASSHE). Some of you know I left my job with the judiciary in July, mainly because it would require way too much travel within the next few years. I jumped on board a very active, exciting project here as a business analyst. Two weeks later, the project was canceled. (No, there is no correlation - or so I'm told. Just a coincidence.) A skeleton crew of us has been helping with some other projects since then, not certain that our jobs would remain stable.

Cam and I went to Longwood Gardens this weekend. I had never been there but plan to go back - soon, I hope. We also went to IKEA, looking for dressers and a tv stand. We'll have to go back in the next few months to pick up what we want.
